Landforms are always changing

Landforms have been changing because of people throughout time. We have been changing the way landforms look and the way they act. At times this can be good and sometimes bad. The question is can changing mountains be good and blocking the sea to give us land to live in be bad?
The question I pose is one of the hardest questions any person can ask because who are we stay what is good and bad for the world. When answering this question, we have to think philosophically. People change landforms to protect the human race. Examin the Greek people. People changed many beaches and mountain to guard themselves. Farmers need to change land to feed people. Many people have benefited from changing landforms.
Many of the landforms we have changed as people can destroy some of the world. Take a look at the dikes built to protect the people of New Orleans. These were constructed to help the people from hurricanes and flooding waters just so they can live right next to the sea. However, changing the land for the benefit of people caused many deaths and destroyed a swampy area.
There are many other landforms that we have changed that destroy the heart of a people. Examine the sacred Black Hills of the Native Americans. Landforms have been changed make monunments throughout history. It gave some of the people of America a feeling of national proudness seeing some of their great past presidents on a mountain. This land was made sacred by many people who lived in this area. This was heart breaking to them and caused much angst because people changed the landforms.
Any way we, as people, changed our landforms possibly through the worse, is where we build our homes. Our home are built on old swamps and the flows of rivers have been changed for our benifits. Fish are dying because of the homes people have built near rivers. There has been negative effects on landforms and Mother Nature because of changing the landform.
Changing landforms can either be good or bad. There is strong evidence that the shaping of our landforms can cause harm to both nature and people. People may want to examine how we are changing the world we live in. If we live in this world we should do something good for it.
