Reason Behind the Recent Haiti Disasters

The Haiti climate is hot and humid in general. The rainy season starts in October and ends in May, and is often struck by super typhoons during the hurricane season that runs from June to October. Risk of flooding and hurricanes are common.

One of the countries that are considered to face serious danger from climate change is Haiti. The country has been challenged with nature’s fury in the past. Less than two years ago, it was beaten by four shattering hurricanes. And now, only a few months back, by a killer quake.

Climate change has brought Haiti to a tipping point. We might think that global warming is really taking place. The steady increase of temperature of the earth and as well as the oceans will further provoke occurrence of these calamities, maybe in numerous occasions. The thought of it is very alarming.

Climate change presents a serious threat to the world having greatest impact on countries where the economic situation is fragile, and Haiti is one of countries that are considered poor.
