Biological Life Style and Your Attitude Towards It

Posted by Rolf Joho on February 9th, 2010 filed in What Causes Global Warming

Many of us who are leading a decent life may be fascinated of a natural life style but unable to determine how to go about it. There is a simple suggestion for you; get hold of a resolution that only the environmentally friendly goods will be bought from the day one onwards. Not only of purchasing eco friendly goods but we will have to determine how to go about of recycling the probable products too.

Daily, we purchase canned food items, while purchasing a can of tuna fish have we ever thought of how enormous scale catching of tuna fish are going to affect the  natural ecosystem of the dolphins? When we purchase cotton clothes, how the huge cotton farms eject the synthetic waste to the nearby rivers, which are taking them down-stream where they are in excess. Just try to understand these facts and certainly they are not really pleasant.

The fundamental problem is the production of non nature friendly items. Take a look at the commercial farming which is the basic contributor of chemical waste to the local rivers. For a common outlook this may not be posing much problems but it is the most important destructive aspect for the eco system.

These chemical nutrients containing the genetic substances give a rapid spurt of growth but are not sustainable. When this excess thing goes to river the algae consumes it which results in its death and the piles of dead algae come together to form a phenomena known as ‘algae bloom’.

This creates a situation for zero oxygen in the water. This will further result in large scale death of fish and water animals or they progressively drift away creating an imbalance in the eco system. It will be a death blow for fast moving fish like salmon.

The chemicals like bleach causes havoc in the similar manner in the rivers, forests and the earth itself. Once it gets saturated in the rivers and earth, the reclamation would be impossible or will take years. We have to lower this contamination by going for eco friendly alternatives.

There is world wide awareness for nature friendly products. The creation of dead regions as it is in Gulf of Mexico, has further activated the process of environmentally friendly products by all who are responsible and interested in it. Now most of the companies are going for nature friendly products, by doing this they get ample publicity and increased demand for their products.

You can do your own way to go for eco friendly products. Internet has brought the world at your finger tips, and you can order your items from the easiness of your home.

Global Warming: Causes, Effects, and the FutureGlobal Warming: Causes, Effects, and the Future

Planet Earth is warming faster now than at any other time in the past 1,000 years, and global warming may be the greatest threat to ever face humanity. Counteracting it is our greatest challenge.

Mark Maslin explains what global warming is and presents incontrovertible evidence that it is really happening. He examines the impact that climate change will have on health, agriculture, water resources, coastal regions, forests, and wildlife. He also looks at the efforts being made to counteract the effects of global warming and the ways in which we can adapt.

Global Warming False Alarm: The Bad Science Behind the United Nations' Assertion that Man-made CO2 Causes Global WarmingGlobal Warming False Alarm: The Bad Science Behind the United Nations' Assertion that Man-made CO2 Causes Global Warming

Have you ever wondered why so many people believe recent climate change is almost entirely the result of human activity, even when there's plenty of evidence to the contrary? It's because the UN's Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) says so.

This compact, readable book pulls apart the flawed science behind the IPCC's assertion that man-made CO2 is causing global warming. Author Ralph Alexander exposes the IPCC's deceptive manipulation of climate data, the roadblocks for the CO2 hypothesis favored by climate change alarmists, and the failed predictions of computer climate models.

Dr. Alexander goes on to examine the consequences of the erroneous, but widespread belief that CO2 emissions need to be drastically curbed for the health of the planet. His analysis shows the folly of carbon trading schemes for regulating CO2, together with common illusions about renewable energy sources. The enormous economic cost of cap-and-trade systems squanders our resources on a problem that doesn't even exist.

The book was awarded an eLit Gold Medal in March 2011, in the Environment/Ecology/Nature category, for books written in English and published electronically for the global marketplace.
