Reap the Rewards of Using Biodiesel Instead of Petrol

Posted by Rolf Joho on January 23rd, 2010 filed in What Causes Global Warming

Biodiesel has recently been considered the “designer fuel” for the wealthy because getting biodiesel at the pumps is truly expensive. However, there is a huge trend in switching to alternative fuels, and especially biodiesel, as it helps to save the world we live in by burning cleaner and creating less harmful exhaust gases. A cleaner burning fuel also uses less fuel and saves you money. For those individuals that cannot afford this luxurious fuel at the pumps, there is however another option. You can make your own biofuel at home with DIY biodiesel kits.

Saving buckets of cash on fuel is now a reality when you convert your auto using a DIY biodiesel kit. Although biodiesel is currently expensive at the pumps, in reality, it is not that expensive to make, and many companies even get the vegetable oil for their vegetable oil diesel for free from restaurants who can avoid paying fees for discarding their oil by allowing others to recycle it. If you want a cheap way of getting your oil, talk to some restaurant owners and many will be very happy to give you the oil you want, and the best bit is it’s normally Free. Of course, you can use your own oil at home as well from when you cook and such, but the less you have to pay for, the better.

Another benefit of DIY biodiesel kits is that you will not have to spend a lot of money for the items needed to make the biodiesel. Much of what you need to put together a DIY kit can be found in your kitchen or garage, and the rest can be got with an easy trip to a DIY store in your area. You will quickly and easily be on your way to producing your own biodiesel with one of these kits, and should have no concerns other than how to spend the money you will save.

As the debates continue to rage about alternative fuels and the climatic changes continue to affect all areas of the globe, many people are asking themselves what they can really all do to make a difference. DIY biodiesel kits have made it possible for the average person to use biodiesel in their vehicles.

Most of us really want to do something to help protect our environment and our planet, but much of what is available is just too expensive for regular folks. Such DIY Biodiesel Kits will save you money and also ensure your effect on Global Warming is greatly reduced.

Global Warming: Causes, Effects, and the FutureGlobal Warming: Causes, Effects, and the Future

Planet Earth is warming faster now than at any other time in the past 1,000 years, and global warming may be the greatest threat to ever face humanity. Counteracting it is our greatest challenge.

Mark Maslin explains what global warming is and presents incontrovertible evidence that it is really happening. He examines the impact that climate change will have on health, agriculture, water resources, coastal regions, forests, and wildlife. He also looks at the efforts being made to counteract the effects of global warming and the ways in which we can adapt.

Global Warming False Alarm: The Bad Science Behind the United Nations' Assertion that Man-made CO2 Causes Global WarmingGlobal Warming False Alarm: The Bad Science Behind the United Nations' Assertion that Man-made CO2 Causes Global Warming

Have you ever wondered why so many people believe recent climate change is almost entirely the result of human activity, even when there's plenty of evidence to the contrary? It's because the UN's Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) says so.

This compact, readable book pulls apart the flawed science behind the IPCC's assertion that man-made CO2 is causing global warming. Author Ralph Alexander exposes the IPCC's deceptive manipulation of climate data, the roadblocks for the CO2 hypothesis favored by climate change alarmists, and the failed predictions of computer climate models.

Dr. Alexander goes on to examine the consequences of the erroneous, but widespread belief that CO2 emissions need to be drastically curbed for the health of the planet. His analysis shows the folly of carbon trading schemes for regulating CO2, together with common illusions about renewable energy sources. The enormous economic cost of cap-and-trade systems squanders our resources on a problem that doesn't even exist.

The book was awarded an eLit Gold Medal in March 2011, in the Environment/Ecology/Nature category, for books written in English and published electronically for the global marketplace.
