Who believes that CO2 actually causes global warming?
I used to believe this was the case, but after watching “The Great Global Warming Swindle”, I'm a bit sceptical.
All That You Wished To Know About Global Temperature Rises
It’s a well known fact accepted fact the worldwide temperature rises as a phenomenon is on everyone’s lips. Everywhere from TV channels to papers can been seen echoing the same. Though it’s the most talked about issue of the present times, there are a few folks who are still oblivious of what it is all about. Let’s shed some illumination about the same.
Put in simple terms, global warming can be outlined as a troubling increase in the’s temperature which could create unfavourable changes to the world environment. Many human activities, especially in the commercial and industrial arena are acknowledged as triggers of this less then fascinating phenomenon.
While the earth’s temperature has been increasing steadily over the years, recent times have seen a steep increase of the frequency as well as speed of mutating seasons. In other words, the temperature increase of the planet has been speeded up to never previously seen proportions.
There are many causes which have lead to this situation. The burning of standard fuels is recognized to be one of leading reasons for global warming and is proclaimed to be straight away related to the phenomenon.
There are numerous unwelcome results of global warming on the climate and the environment. Firstly, global warming marks and increase in the temperature. This suggests that summers are more hotter and the winters are not so cold. Longer summers and shorter winters are one more implication of global warming.
Another impact that global warming has set forth is the duration of the seasons. In the present times one can witness summers as longer and winters as shorter. Another major negative impact of global warming is that it speeds up the process of evaporation. This frequently paves way for the heavy and unwelcome rainfall. In this sense worldwide temperature increases is one of the vital elements for the rising floods that are occurring all around the world. In a corresponding way the rising temperature can invite eventualities like the major land areas turning into deserts. Global temperature rises paves way for rise in turn can end up in turn can lead to extreme weather issues like hurricanes and storms.
Yet another a
1000
dverse consequence of the phenomenon of global temperature rises is evident on the polar ice caps. It has been noted that since the temperature of the earth is on rise, it has resulted in liquefying of the polar ice caps. This has further brought forth problem like increase in the water levels of the oceans. So it wouldn’t be wrong to opine that the melting of polar caps have contributed to fastening the global warming process all the more. It is important understand the ice as present in the ice caps helps to send back the rays of the sun. Lacking the presence of the ice blocks, the rays of the sun are without delay lapped up by the earth. This leads to associated temperature rise which isn’t a favorable situation.
As the level of the water in the oceans undergoes a drastic increase, it increases the chance of sinking of the islands. The pace at which the phenomenon is increasing, it’s very very likely that eventually the continents too will go thru a submerge into the water.
Considering the numerous unpleasant effects that world temperature rises has on the environment, it only is sensible that we make conscious effort to offset the effects of global warming.
