Yahoo! UK News Message Boards – Global Warming – High population causes global warming

Have you been listening to some of the twaddle we are fed from our traitorous politicians? The ONLY way to save the planet is to reduce global population! There is no other option!
Who is going to deny modern conveniences to developing nations? Is that realistic? NO!
We must focus our policies and limited financial resources upon encouraging sterilisation through fiscal reward. This would be especially successful in poorer countries where they are unable to support themselves without aid.
Within ten years we could save the planet! All talk of recycling and frugal living, dragging us down some guilt trip based upon our decadent lifestyle and guilt trips are a joke! Where do these people live?
The Earth has a finite resource; blindly following current dogma will destroy us all and doom the planet. The way to hell is paved with do gooders… The solution is there. It is humane, sustainable and would offer an injection of international money to poorest nations, thus lifting them out of poverty.

Mark Maslin explains what global warming is and presents incontrovertible evidence that it is really happening. He examines the impact that climate change will have on health, agriculture, water resources, coastal regions, forests, and wildlife. He also looks at the efforts being made to counteract the effects of global warming and the ways in which we can adapt.
