What Will Happen on 21 December 2012?

The 2012 end of the world phenomenon has become one of the biggest attention-grabbers of the year, but what is it really? Will the world really be ending, or is it just somebody’s imagination going into overdrive? Being prepared though is a good option as nobody really knows what will happen. So that brings up the question: are you ready for the 2012 end of the world disaster?

Lots of individuals are getting prepared in a similar manner they did for the Y2K scare at the turn of the millennium. They’re stockpiling water, non-perishable food, and other resources in bunkers, cellars, and other areas that they believe will keep them safe during the many natural disasters that are going to strike earth during 2012. But will these bunkers really keep them safe? Well, that all depends. If the forces of nature are really going to be as horrible as people claim, it’s really debatable. A massive earthquake that struck, for example, would just disintegrate a bunker.

It is always good advice though to be prepared for any disaster event that may happen. Things like emergency rations, a first aid kit, flashlights and blankets are all good to store away. Talking over what to do in a disaster with your family is also a good idea. Even if you don’t need these plans to survive the end of the world, you may need them to protect your family from a fire or other natural disaster.
