Call me stupid, but

I don’t think it’s that hard to stop Global Warming and save the planet. Perhaps for a lengthy period of time the human race could stop using cars, trucks, etc etc unless it’s for exportation/importing. Decreasing the use of cars is a start because we’ll be generating less emissions, thus decreasing the pace of Global warming. It’s not like we don’t have other ways of going places. We have Bikes, scooters, mass transportation (yes, public transit should be an exception to the ‘no-vehicle’ policy.), and even electric powered cars. Hell, investing in more modes of transportation that won’t harm the planet would be a hell of a way to help. Those big ass factories that emit all that harmful shit into our air just so we can get things like tvs, cars, appliances and so on? Shut that down. It’s not impossible to create essentials things by hand. We’ve done it before. Factories that filter water and produce food, I suppose, would have to remain as they are—if there isn’t a way to help whatever smog it is that they produce. Want to BBQ? Don’t use coal. Unplug unused appliances, turn off shit you aren’t using and practice not always using hot water. Stop deforestation, stop littering, start recycling and trying to actually do something for your home. And I don’t just mean the house, apartment or whatever hut you live in; I’m talking about the Earth. It isn’t impossible to live simpler lives for the sake of saving the planet. We have the money and power to start somewhere. It’s just people don’t want to give up the luxuries that comes with our current century since it makes life so easy. We don’t have all the time in the world; Global warming is a real thing and it harms everything residing on Earth. There are ways to fix it. We just need to stop being hard asses and start giving a damn about something that will end life on Earth. Everything we’ve done will be for nothing if this continues.
