Please be patient with me, I know this is a dumb question, but I’m curious if other people have thought about this.

Could redwood trees technically improve our chances of survival? They survived acid rain and rapid wild fires after the K-2 impact, and thrive where it’s hot and they have moisture. When you’re in a redwood forest it’s shaded and cool because they block out the sun and sort of create fog… Curious if that could be an interesting solution to a bleak situation. Obviously living in redwood forests today means that you have to evacuate the Californian wildfires… But if we’re going to be experiencing extreme weather with no end in sight anyway, could we adapt until life gets easier because the trees would improve conditions?
