A genuine question, I'm not trying to be a dick. I think I figured it out while typing this up though but also figured I would go ahead and post anyways for any additional information.
Upon a few moments of thought I realized that a large amount of ice is actually upon land and not in the ocean. Thus it adds whatever runoff there is without refreezing because of global warming. Anything else?
